This is long overdue, but a little over a month ago a took some pictures for some local bands. It was a really fun show. It was at the Soda Bar on a Wednesday night so it was really low-key and chill.

Everyone was super nice and had great energy on stage. It was a fun show to shoot. Unfortunately the lights at the Soda Bar are, and most likely will always be, some of the worst lights at a v...

Psyko Steve put on a show "Celebrating 15 Years of the Best Fucking Shows Ever" - and it was the best fucking show ever.

This wasn't just a concert - it was a reunion. Friends/fans were driving, and flying, across the country for this show. It was a huge deal.

I'm not the best writer so I am going to get on with the pictures. Just know, the show was perfect. And if you missed out - hop...

I shot another show the other day for ListenSD. They wrote a review on the headliner, Diane Coffee. You can read that HERE.

The venue was really dark and for most of the shots I had to boost up to 10000+ ISO - but over all it was a pretty fun/chill show to shoot. It was nice to be at a real small show - they always have good vibes.

I shot a show for a local publication, Listen SD, last night at the Balboa Theatre downtown. It was a super weird show. I had no idea what to expect before I went because I hadn't heard of any of the bands before.

You can read about my expirience under all the pictures if you're interested.

So, I was told that doors were at 7pm and the band I was shooting,...

This was a really good show. Andrew McMahon is one of my favorite performers and I was thrilled to get to shoot him again. I had never listened to any of the opening bands - but they all were really good and put on amazing, energetic performances. New Politics put on what is probably the most crazy, and thrilling performances I have ever seen. Mad props to those dudes for the amount of energy they...

This festival had an amazing line up - so naturally me and all my friends met up for this event. It was such a good time and I wish I could repeat it over and over again.

I didn't think I was going to get to shoot this show - I was just going to dance, sing, and hang out with friends because four of my favorite bands were playing. However, after posting a picture on twitter - I some how convinced...

This show was tons of fun. I took a half day at work, my best friend came to town, we ate at my favorite restaurant, and I got to shoot one of my favorite peformers, Jack Antonoff.

I had never been to this venue. It was alright. I would say from the expirience that I had at this show - it's one of the better venues in San Diego (not that that's sayi...

So Nate Ruess put out a new (solo) album called "Grand Romantic" and put on a couple release shows throughout the country. One of them happened to be in LA at a venue I had never gone to before.

I have seen Nate a lot of times since 2004. This show was special because he played songs from his old band, The Format, and the capacity of the venue is only 600. The last time I saw him perform a show th...

So, Jack did an awesome thing for me and got me a photo pass at the last minute. I wasn't gonna shoot this show - but then I ended up having to go alone. It's always nice to be able to take pictures when you have no one to dance with.

I've always liked the Observatory. However, I would much rather bring a telephoto lens and shoot from the back than in the...

Alright, it's official - I am a terrible blogger. I am about to post about an event that happened four whole months ago. Things got super busy with school the last couple months. Then summer happened and I've been focused on work. But enough with excuses.

So let's get on with it.

Jack Antonoff from Steel Train and FUN. started a new project and released a really good album called Strange D...
